Welcome to the WANEP-Nigeria Learning/Discussion Hub!
Dear friends,
I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant Learning and Knowledge Sharing Hub, a platform designed to foster collaboration, exchange insights, and enhance our collective understanding of peace-building in West Africa, particularly Nigeria. At WANEP-Nigeria, we believe in the power of knowledge exchange to drive positive change, and we are excited to have you join us on this journey in collaborative peacebuilding.
As a member of our Learning Community, you will have unparalleled access to a wealth of resources, discussions, and opportunities aimed at deepening your understanding of peace-building efforts in our region. Our Hub serves as a central repository where network members and the public alike can access valuable knowledge, share experiences, and pose pertinent questions about the work that we do.
We will regularly upload a variety of materials, including our newsletters, publications, project reports, and our annual reports, as well as early warning outputs. Through these resources, you will gain valuable insights into the challenges and successes of peace-building initiatives across Nigeria and beyond.
Furthermore, we encourage you to actively contribute to the conversations by taking part in the discussions here and also submitting articles for the Women, Peace, and Security Journal published by WANEP-Nigeria. Your perspectives and experiences are invaluable, and we believe that amplifying diverse voices is essential for driving meaningful change in our communities.
Each week, we will introduce a new theme for discussion on the Hub, inspired by our ongoing programs and the contextual happenings in Nigeria. These themes will provide a framework for exploring key issues, sharing best practices, and brainstorming innovative solutions to the challenges we face.
We are proud to introduce the members of our editorial team, who will guide and facilitate discussions on the Hub: our National Network Coordinator and Head of Programs. Their expertise and dedication will ensure that our discussions remain focused, engaging, and impactful.
In closing, I extend our warmest welcome to all of you. Together, we have the opportunity to create positive change, foster meaningful connections, and build a more peaceful and inclusive society for all.
Thank you for being a part of our journey in Peach Building.
Warm regards,
Aveseh Asough
