WANEP Nigeria recently facilitated an Early Warning and Conflict Monitoring Training for staff members and interns at the General Leo Irabor Early Warning Systems Centre, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Lagos.

The training was designed to strengthen the capacity of participants—particularly members of the Early Warning Team—by enhancing their ability to identify conflict indicators, monitor emerging threats, and effectively apply early warning tools. This initiative aims to support timely response mechanisms and promote proactive conflict prevention within the Centre and beyond.
