WANEP Nigeria & Plateau State Peacebuilding Agency Lead Peace Walk in Jos

September 20, 2025 wanep-nigeria No Comments Democracy & Good Governance

In a remarkable show of solidarity and commitment to peace, WANEP Nigeria in collaboration with the Plateau State Peacebuilding Agency held a Peace Walk in Jos, Plateau State.

The event drew peace advocates, civil society groups, community leaders, government officials, women, and youth, all united in a joyful procession that showcased the collective will to overcome divisions and foster lasting peace.

Participants marched with placards bearing powerful messages of love, tolerance, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence, while music, dancing, and chants of solidarity filled the atmosphere — creating a true celebration of peace.

This Peace Walk not only symbolized unity but also served as a practical demonstration of shared values and resilience in Plateau State.
