The training equipped participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify, counter, and respond to violence-inciting disinformation while promoting peace, social cohesion, and democratic participation within their communities.
WANEP-Nigeria, in partnership with the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), successfully concluded a two-day training for community leaders and grassroots stakeholders under the EU-supported project, “Countering Disinformation and Empowering Democracy in North-western Nigeria.”
