WANEP Nigeria in partnership with the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) with support from Global Affairs Canada holds 2-Day Training Workshop on the Women, Peace and Security Resolutions for Media Practitioners from November 3- 4, 2021.

The workshop aims to sensitize national and local journalists and Media practitioners on the Women, Peace and Security Resolutions and their role in implementing them. Also, the workshop will help identify key opportunities and strategies for the strengthening of the role of the media in the implementation of the WPS Resolutions and gender responsive and conflict sensitive COVID- 19 recovery.The program which has over 40 media practitioners in attendance from different states across Nigeria is holding in Abuja.
