WANEP- Nigeria with Support from Urgent Action Fund Africa commenced the Project “Building Alliances to Ameliorate the Negative Impact of Environmental Exploitation on Women in Rabaka, Ikorodu LGA , Lagos State with an entry into the community on October 5, 2021

The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP- Nigeria) with Support from Urgent Action Fund Africa commenced the Project “Building Alliances to Ameliorate the Negative Impact of Environmental Exploitation on Women in Rabaka, Ikorodu LGA , Lagos State with an entry into the community on October 5, 2021. The community entry enabled the project team to learn about the current challenges women are experiencing in Rabaka as a result of environmental exploitation ( sand mining); identify the key stakeholders in the community and set dates for follow up activities.
