With the recent conflict between the Lugunda and Waja ethnic groups in Balanga Local Government Area, Gombe State on February 8, 2022 over 2,000 persons have been displaced from their homes with a large number of women and children taking refuge in the IDP camp in Jessu community,. The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP ) in Partnership with Kebetkache Women Development and Resource Centre went on an advocacy visit to the District Head of Nuer community.
